The Role The Senior Billing Analyst is a key player to the quote-to-cash process and customer experience. This role works closely with management on scaling credit and billing procedures. The Senior Billing Analyst is also responsible for working with customers and internal employees to answer customer questions and resolve issues while maintaining a high level of customer service in all communications. Your day-to-day Represent the Billing team in cross-functional IT projects and process improvement initiatives Review daily orders for credit approval, as a back-up to manager Lead efforts to improve efficiencies associated with the billing and credit review processes Create and maintain written documentation sites of billing and credit procedures (WIKI, SharePoint) Act as subject matter expert in credit, billing portal and invoicing procedures Conduct employee training on Billing Operations and credit procedures Work with Tax manager for Avalara tax system and ERP system updates Manage a ticketing system and various email groups to address customer inquiries Run customer credit reports and create customers in ERP system Work closely with the Order Management and the Accounts Receivable teams on daily transactions What you bring to the team Bachelor Degree in Business or Accounting 4 – 6 years demonstrated experience as a full service billing and credit analyst Knowledge of credit procedures and experience running D&B reports Strong analytical and reasoning skills to research and resolve customer and internal questions Owning assigned projects and tasks from beginning to end Ability to meet SLAs and KPIs in a high-volume environment Solid MS Office and Computer skills –including Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Office High computer application literacy including ERP systems - preferably Microsoft AX D365, Salesforce, plus the ability to learn multiple customer portals Self-motivated with a knack for being meticulous, detail oriented, and organized Track record of being a strong team player with a positive attitude and adaptability to change Understanding of sales tax procedures is a plus #LI-AN2 If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
