We are looking for a Revenue Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Sr. Director Revenue Accounting and will be based in San Jose, CA. Role and Responsibilities: Own monthly close and reporting processes including preparation of journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation of revenue accounts and deferred revenue accounts Perform contract review, prepare checklist, and apply critical thinking to ensure revenue recognized in compliance with ASC 606 Review arrangements with multiple performance obligations and assess allocation Perform SSP analysis and prepare quarterly RSP allocation for each reporting period Analyze and assess appropriate accounting treatment and book the accruals for credits and rebates, partner referrals, etc. Perform analysis on contract assets, contract liability, unbilled AR including preparation of roll forward schedules and calculation of the short term/long term classifications Assist with billing and collection and invoicing activities Assist with the quarterly and annual audits; including the compilation and preparation of supporting schedules, work papers, and financial reports related to areas of responsibility Assist in SOX testing to ensure SOX compliance; work with internal and external audit requests related to areas of responsibility Contribute to process and system improvements in the revenue cycle, including ERP system enhancement and departmental projects Skills, Educations and Experiences: 7-10 years of revenue experience, ASC 606 experience required BA / BS Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company where adaptability is imperative Very strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal abilities Ability to build relationships across all business functions Intermediate level Excel skills Audit experience, CPA is a plus About Bloom Energy: At Bloom Energy, we strive toward a 100% renewable future.
