We’re thrilled that you are interested in joining us here at the Amynta Group! The primary purpose of the PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR position is to ensure that people are paid accurately and on time. The role performs all activities necessary to process 1 or more payrolls, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports, preparing accounting transactions and documents, and preparing special reports for management. This role participates in ongoing process improvement activities to bring greater efficiency and effectiveness of Workday to HR, as well as the entire company and is a key participant in the growth and evaluation of the HR Technology ecosystem. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Payroll processing tasks, including but not limited to tasks in Workday for payroll calculations, settlements, pay input, pay data batches (EIBs), wage assignments, off-cycle calculations and payments. Ability to effectively and accurately communicate, research and resolve pay related issues. Knowledge of multi-state taxes including reconciling federal, state and local taxes. Experience auditing and resolving tax discrepancies. Analyze payroll problems and provide appropriate resolutions. Follow and enforce federal, state and local laws. Follow internal audit controls and assist with periodic audit tests. Assist as needed with other assignments and special projects. BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE) 5 years of relevant payroll experience. Multi-State tax filing or Garnishment Administration experience preferred. Workday payroll experience strongly desired.
