Primary Purpose: Under general direction plans, program, operate and maintain the automation equipment in the manufacturing area, maximize the performance standards set for production, quality, and cost. Primary Duties: Programming and Maintains Nachi Palletizing Cells. Ensure proper programming and set up of manufacturing automation systems is implemented for job changes for any automated equipment. Maintains Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV’s). Trouble shoots and repairs manufacturing automation systems. Maintains the auto labeler system. Performs documented preventive maintenance and safety checks of manufacturing automation systems. Performs monthly safety audits following plant based criteria. Maintains automated quality testing equipment. Setup and adjustments on Cognex and Keyence vision systems Maintains automated assembly equipment Leadership skills and training of other technicians Responsible for challenge and testing of all automated assemble Equipment Job Specifications: A minimum of 6 years of automation experience. Robotic training preferred. Experience with Allen & Bradley and Siemens PLCs and Vision Systems. A strong background in maintenance.
