Posting Close Date: February 7, 2023 The Opportunity Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Analyst will work with counterparts in the Materials Management & Warehousing team in Canada and the US and across Supply Chain to support the intake, consumption, replenishment, optimization and obsolescence of TC Energy inventory materials. What you’ll do Support clients with inventory intake/creation: analysis and understanding of existing inventory, stock levels and consumption, identifying potentially surplus/obsolete materials; requisitioning of new inventory, requests for new plants, etc. Support projects clients with review of required materials and potential displacement of new orders with existing surplus or overstocked inventory Analyze inventory consumption, identify trends and opportunities for optimization that will improve service levels and/or reduce carrying costs Support Line of Business specific analysis and reporting for internal customers and stakeholders Support the establishment of field inventory at satellite stores – e.g. working with warehouses and field personnel/clients to ensure material is labelled, replenished and annually counted (SAP cycle counts, variance reconciliation and audits) Assist ongoing efforts to improve inventory visibility – e.g. addition of items considered “grey-stock” critical spares to SAP inventory Support the delivery of training to clients on inventory processes Work with TC Energy Surplus & Investment Recovery Coordinator and other stakeholders to support redeployment and disposition efforts related to surplus materials Interact with key Supply Chain and business stakeholders including Managers, Buyers, Field Technicians, Field Work Planners, Operations Managers, Reliability Managers, Project Managers, and other internal and external stakeholders as applicable. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma is required At least two (2) years related Supply Chain experience, in pipeline, midstream, or other related oil and gas setting Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Sharepoint, Power Automate and Power Apps Must have experience with SAP and Inventory related SAP functions. Preferred Qualifications Education/Experience: University Degree General experience with Materials Management & Warehousing functions Designation or enrollment in Supply Chain certification (SCMP, CPIM, etc.) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to turn large data sets into useful and actionable information.
