As Logistics Manager, you lead demand planning, scheduling, warehousing & delivery operations for Plastipak’s Plant City facility. You collaborate with multiple functions, including Quality, Procurement and Manufacturing Production, as well as carriers, vendors and customers. Your team contributes to Plastipak’s ranking as an industry leader in the design and manufacture of rigid plastic containers. You Will Manage a team to achieve best possible outcomes for complete and on-time delivery to customers, minimal days on hand, logistics and warehouse costs, inventory accuracy and shrinkage Maintain the Finished Goods Management Program, providing for the movement and storage of finished products Strategically plan production schedules & line utilization to ensure production schedules meet forecasts, business demand plans and deadlines.
