Job Description
1-800 WATER DAMAGE is a trusted property restoration company serving customers across the nation. - 1-800 Water Damage of Greater Tucson offers an incentive program upon successful completion of the following:
- A technician will receive a raise after 90 days with a satisfactory review.
- A technician will have annual reviews with the chance for additional raises dependent on his/her progression while on the job.
- All successful customer referrals resulting in a restoration job will result in a $100 bonus.
- Upon successful completion of a job-related certification outlined by the company, the technician will receive a $100 bonus.
The Technician Assistant will assist other team members by providing skilled & unskilled labor while learning the techniques & receiving training required while performing professional mitigation & disaster response services for 1-800 Water Damage of Greater Tucson, J&J Chem-Dry, and Brewer Restoration. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate if they have no experience in the field. Customer service experience is a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Perform unskilled & skilled labor as assigned.
- Show up on time for shifts, in proper uniform & well-groomed.
- Technicians wear masks frequently. Facial hair cannot go outside the perimeter of the mask and must be well-groomed for the safety and health of the technician.
- Technicians must provide their own pants in the color black or tan and boots.
- Be available for on-call & emergencies. This is a rotating schedule with an on-call status of one week (7 days) out of the month.
- Compensation in the form of time and a half regardless of accumulated hours when called out after hours (6pm to 6am).
- $50 call out bonus every day a technician is called out after hours while on call.
- Continued ongoing education and training for certifications related to the job.
- Learn & practice commitment to customer service.
- Fill out paperwork properly; (ADP Mobile Timesheet, Job Site Paperwork)
- Must be able to exercise good judgment & to understand & carry out written & or oral instructions, along with sound problem-solving ability.
All full-time employees will have 2 paid national holidays off after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or college experience.
- Must maintain a valid Drivers License & maintain a good driving record.
- Must be able to stand; walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel reach with hands & arms and talk or hear.
- Must be able to regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
