The Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) therapist will be responsible for working closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement 1:1 or group interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to children with autism and related disorders. This person will implement behavioral treatment plans in a clinic-based program. The ABA therapist will be responsible for data collection of patient's progress, providing regular progress reports and meeting with the BCBA, family, and school staff to review patient progress. Therapist may also provide assistance in parent training and development of program and teaching materials.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree required. Degree in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, human development or related fields, preferred. At least 6 months experience working directly with children. Self-motivated, highly organized individual. Able to work independently but also within a team environment. Willingness to work non-traditional hours and be available by phone/email, as needed by BCBA, other clinical staff, and CADD Medical Director.
