Position Overview:

As Maintenance Support at Wander the Resort, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the efficiency of our maintenance operations. Working closely with our Maintenance team you will provide crucial support to enhance the overall functionality and appearance of the resort's facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Task Assistance:
  • Assist Maintenance Specialists in performing routine repairs and maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Support with tasks such as painting, carpentry, and general maintenance projects.

  • Equipment Handling:
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the maintenance workshop and equipment storage areas.
  • Grounds Maintenance:
  • Contribute to landscaping and groundskeeping activities, including lawn care, gardening, and outdoor maintenance.
  • Participate in keeping the resort's exterior clean and well-maintained.

  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Maintenance Specialists to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Communicate effectively to understand task requirements and provide assistance accordingly.

  • Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities.
  • Report any safety concerns or potential hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager for resolution.

  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of completed tasks, inspections, and any issues encountered during maintenance activities.
  • Assist in preparing reports on task completion and resource utilization.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance support role or similar capacity is beneficial.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting or manual labour.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Commitment to safety practices and adherence to regulations.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
