We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Ensure that all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation as needed, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients.
• Organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.
• Dispose of waste properly and assist with recycling efforts.
• Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
