Sales Manager (New Home Sales)

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing sales strategies, and leading a team of sales professionals in the homebuilding sector. This role requires a strong understanding of the homebuilding market, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process by addressing client concerns and providing exceptional service.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitor activities.
- Work closely with marketing, construction, and finance teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives and ensure smooth project execution.
- Organize and lead training sessions for the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of the Ottawa area housing market and familiarity of the key industry builders.
- 5 years of sales experience in the homebuilding or real estate industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
- Knowledge of homebuilding processes, products, and market trends.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
