Laboratory Technician

Location: 1156 Jinkinson Road, Stittsville, Ontario

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive testing on aggregate and asphalt materials using advanced equipment to assess quality, composition, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of test results, ensuring organized data management and timely reporting to relevant departments.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments, addressing any malfunctions and ensuring optimal functionality at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with the quality control and production teams to enhance testing procedures, resolve issues, and implement quality control programs.
• Participate in continuous learning and development opportunities to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in testing and quality control methods.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience working in a lab technician role.
• Valid drivers license and own form of transportation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
