Tality Wellness Shipyards Manager

Tality Wellness are looking to hire a manager for our sauna cold plunge facility in the Shipyards!

Your ultimate goal as manager is to offer a consistently abundant, repeatable, and expected, experience at the Shipyards Spa; by providing a very hot sauna, ice cold tubs, and unlimited kombucha in a clean and relaxing atmosphere.

Your responsible for ensuring all sessions run smoothly with appropriate supplies, and attentive and friendly hosts. Solve problems, implement solutions, and run a smooth operational ship with dedicated hands. Set up staff and facilities for success. Have a get it done attitude while always improving systems, aesthetics, and the customer experience.

Previous management experience will be helpful but not necessary. We are willing to provide all required training for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Hosting sessions

- Acting as shift leader

- Inventory management and ordering

- Staff hiring and training

- Facility maintenance and upkeep

- Water chemistry testing and balancing

- Coordinating and scheduling with trades and/or cleaners

- Troubleshooting problems on the fly

- Updating and improving SOP’s

- Basic office work including emails and slack management

Additional training required:

• Basic First Aid / AED
• Completion of online Water Chemistry 101 course OR pool operator certificate equivalent

Tality can cover the cost of First Aid / Online Water Chemistry training fees, but will not cover hourly wages spent acquiring the additional certificates. All other associated training will be paid and provided by Tality.

Expected hours is 30-40 hrs per week, with a 1-2 week initial training period with continued training and job score card reviews after the fact. Scheduling is currently open to negotiation. Our ideal candidate would be available through the weekend and the evenings to help manage the busier times as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
