Temporary Medical Office Assistant (vacation coverage)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Temporary Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our family medical office team in Downtown Vancouver. This position will be for a temporary period, from May 16th to June 4th, 2024 to provide support during a temporary leave of absence of our current MOA. Training can be provided prior to the start date to allow for a smooth transition.

Sky Medical is a full-service family practice and is focused on actively improving all treatment and care for our patients. There are two full-time doctors at the clinic, and the office is a very friendly, team-oriented environment.

The Medical Office Assistant is a key member of that team! The Medical Office Assistant is responsible for, among other things, answering calls, administrative work, booking appointments and collecting patients' information.

Qualifications should include:

• Interpersonal communication skills in order to interact with our great group of patients
• Knowledge of Word, Excel & EMR (Ideally OSCAR EMR)
• Strong organizational skills

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
