Experienced Carpenter

Refresh Contracting & Cabinetry Ltd is a growing company offering general construction contracting services and high-quality custom cabinetry and millwork to commercial and residential markets.

We currently have an immediate requirement for experienced Carpenter to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, metals, etc...
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub-flooring and install walls and roofing systems/framing and insulate. Fit and install trim, doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
• Comply with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.

Experience:

• 10-15 years residential/commercial construction experience;
• Journeyperson certification is not required but would be an asset;
• Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail and the ability to perform carpentry tasks with the highest quality and standards are a must;
• Ability to work safely and effectively as a team and over see apprentices/labourers;
• Ability to stand for prolong periods, climb, pull, stoop and lift heavy objects;
• Valid drivers’ licence and clean drivers abstract required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
