Priest Creek Family Estate Winery is a small, boutique, award-winning, family-owned and run winery located in stunning SE Kelowna. Established in 2018, the family put together the infrastructure and successfully opened the tasting room in 2020. Our growth since opening is consistently increasing and we are excited to bring higher volumes and new varietals of wines to our retail customers, and continue growth with our wine club.

We are seeking an ambitious, highly- skilled, people-oriented individual with a strong focus on sales, marketing and management. This role will work side by side with our current Wine Shop Manager/Marketing Manager and with our owners to develop and execute marketing strategies, manage sales activities to achieve our targeted sales growth. Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Drive Priest Creek's revenue growth and wine club subscriptions.
  • Develop, implement and review integrated marketing strategies to promote the Wineries brand and sales.
  • Owning and optimizing all sales channels and sales relationships.
  • Preparing and executing communications, websites, marketing materials, and pop-ups including special events and promotional opportunities.
  • Ensure our Wineries values, teamwork and desired customer experience are promoted and delivered in everything we do.
  • Oversee daily wine shop procedures including maintaining cleanliness, inventory control, following government mandated health and safety standards, and BC liquor service standards.
  • Manage staff, assisting with scheduling, hiring, and maintaining open communication with staff.
  • Encourage and build trust, respect, and cooperation among team members, while supporting staff and empowering them to lead elevated tastings.
  • Oversee incoming wine orders, fulfilling orders accordingly, monitoring carts and promoting sales through email assistance.
  • Assisting with facilitation of Wine Club shipments twice annually, assisting in growing wine club memberships.
  • Idea generation, continue helping to grow the business and increase traffic with creative and new insights.
  • Support the management of reservations, working closely with tour companies, and reconciling fees accordingly.

The right candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and project management experience and a strong ability to multitask.
  • Team first approach. Versatile, flexible and accountable with a willingness to "pitch in" to support the customer experience.
  • Excellent oral and writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiar with Commerce 7/POS systems an asset.
  • Familiar with Canva, Mail Chimp, Google, Facebook, Instagram Marketing, fondness for taking photos, etc.
  • Winery, Marketing, Management experience an asset.
  • Flexible schedule, ability to work ability evenings, and weekends.
  • Valid Serving It Right Certificate.
  • Ability to lift cases of wine (up to 40lbs) multiple times during a workday.

This position could be full-time for the busy summer season, switching to part time, or could be part-time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
