MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, Wasaga Pines RV Resort
The maintenance technician will keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the property. And to complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following standard operating procedures. Continually work towards and support the improvement of service to guests, other departments and fellow staffs.
All training provided as required to successful applicant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Assist in ground’s maintenance and landscaping of the property
· Assist in the repairs and maintenance of all community buildings and equipment
· Providing support to residents as required, such as firewood delivery
· Assist in pool facilities maintenance
· Safe operation of resort equipment - tractor, carts, RTV
· Ensuring ongoing communication with Resort Manager and Maintenance Lead
· Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
· Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.
· Operate within the applicable Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company policies at all times.
· Maintain cleanliness of property
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Physically fit; ability to lift, push and pull up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs infrequently; ability to work at heights
· Excellent oral & written communication skills
· Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills
