Purpose:
The District Manager oversees approximately 20 – 25 restaurants as assigned and ensures each location follows our “BRAND” standards.
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Act as the Guardian of the Osmow's Brand, supporting the Franchise Partner in managing successful operations through Flawless Execution of Osmow’s Restaurants. Be the liaison, coach & resource between Franchise Partners & Osmow’s Support Team.
Responsible for & overseeing a restaurant group as assigned.
Provide & Follow Up on actionable feedback for Franchise Partners & Restaurant Teams
Complete & maintain required business reporting.
Optimize Osmow’s business practices to improve profitability, Restaurant growth, Franchise Partner engagement & financial performance.
In cooperation with the Franchise Partners, develop Action Plans to improve the Flawless Execution of Operating Standards, Guest Experience & Franchise Partner Success.
Work with Franchise Partners to set goals, develop budgets & develop action plans to increase sales & maximize profitability.
Collect, Develop & Share examples of Flawless Execution of best practices with Franchise Partners & Osmow’s Support Team.
Maintain current training requirements & deliver training as needed to Franchise Partners & Restaurant Teams.
Support the successful opening & renovations of Restaurants within your business region.
Maintain accurate & thorough records/reports of activities & communications.
Work cooperatively with all District Managers & Osmow’s Support Team to implement Osmow’s Brand objectives, develop business practices & provide actionable feedback.
Complete a minimum number of Restaurant Visits per week, including Restaurant Operations Audits, Food Safety Audits, Coaching Visits & Action Plan follow-ups, Restaurant Training & Business Growth planning
Attending all required Osmow’s Support Team meetings (Virtually or In-person as required).
Attend all Franchise Partner Meetings.
Summarize Weekly, Monthly, or as required Reporting.
1 weekend or 1 PM Visit per quarter as per business requirements
Complete unannounced Quality Assurance audit semi-annually and one scheduled business development meeting per month.
SUMMARY: The District Manager should spend the majority of their time in Osmow’s Restaurants supporting daily Restaurant Operations, Franchise Partner Success and the Flawless Execution of Osmow’s Brand Standards & Initiatives.
Preparation:
Review all Business Reporting and Progress to develop Discussion Planners.
Review outstanding Action Plans from previous visits for current follow-up.
Prepare a concise agenda/list of discussion/review items.
Prepare materials for upcoming Promotions, LTO Activities, Brand Initiatives or Brand Focuses.
Schedule with Franchisee (if required)
Discussion:
Provide Franchise Partners with Discussion Planners prior to scheduled meetings.
Review most recent Audits
Review outstanding Action Plans from previous visits for current follow-up.
In cooperation with the Franchise Partner, create a reasonable, time-bound, specific & measurable Action Plan.
Ensure alignment or agreement on what was discussed.
Schedule follow-up discussions/Action Plan reviews as required.
Provide a copy of the completed Planner with the Franchise Partner.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Post-secondary education (e.g. hospitality, marketing, business) required. Completed degree or diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
2-3 years of quick service or restaurant experience
2-3 years leading multiple restaurant locations.
Strong communications skills and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and development skills to contribute to achieving team goals and promoting teamwork.
Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing
Organized, innovative, flexible.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Standing for long periods of time
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with a demanding time schedule.
Must be able to work odd hours as handling all training during regular office hours is not always feasible.
Must be able to travel to branch office locations to conduct training sessions.
