Operations Trainee

We are currently expanding our Vancouver team and looking for a proactive, self-motivated individual for our Operations Trainee position.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

· Providing support to Operations team, including records maintenance

· Contract drafting

· Preparation of laytime calculations

· Verification and approval of shipment documentation and invoices

· Preparation and distribution of market reports

· Building and maintaining strong working relationships with our clients

· Assisting in day-to-day office and administrative duties

Ideally you will have:

· Undergraduate degree or equivalent industry training/certification

· Previous work experience in logistics, customer service or sales would be beneficial

· Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills

· Ability to work effectively with diverse teams/cultures

· Highly effective verbal and written communication skills

· High attention to detail and quality standards

· Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize

· Ability to work well independently and cooperatively as part of multiple teams

· Pro-active attitude
