CHINESE SCHOOL – PRINCIPAL (SUMMER CAMP)

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Chinese School, the Principal will oversee the general operations of the Mon Sheong Chinese School Summer Camp.

Main Duties:

• Operate and ensure the smooth running of the Mon Sheong Chinese School Summer Camp;
• Teaching management: observe, instruct, and mentor teachers, including Cantonese, Putonghua, Conversation and Mathematics;
• Manage resources including but not limited to teachers, program assistants, equipment, and supplies;
• Work closely with the Director and Administrative Officer in daily operation ;
• Maintain good communications with parents;
• Promote the work and activities of the Mon Sheong Foundation;
• Perform other duties related to Chinese School operations as assigned.
• This is a part-time contract position.

Qualifications:

• Strong management experience, preferably in a school setting;
• Previous teaching experience, preferably within Ontario;
• Teachers’ College Diploma, University Degree, or equivalent;
• Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and supervisory skills;
• Available to work from July 2, 2024 to August 2, 2024, Monday to Friday
