Child and Youth Worker

Kildonan Common is hiring a youth care worker for our Winnipeg Beach location, we work with stabilizing young people in care and preparing them for a healthy successful future.

This position will require one to maintain a clean environment, complete regular checks on the youth living in the home, deal with any emotional complications that may arise, complete any incident reports and logging that needs to be done. Reporting to your team lead and following their direction.

You must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, you must be able to obtain a clear criminal check, vulnerable person's check, clear child abuse registry and First Aid/CPR that is not expired.

These shifts are 24 hour shifts, with an 8 hour sleep period on site. You would be an independent contractor and 12 shifts a month would be considered full time

Preference would be given to Indigenous Female candidates
