16 Week Summer Student Position
**Please Note: As this position is provided through the Aboriginal Skills Employment & Training Program with ATEC, all applicants must be of aboriginal ancestry in order to qualify for the role.
Are you interested in a unique and rewarding summer experience? The Kamloops Food Bank is seeking an energetic, responsible, and personable individual. This position is a full-time 16-week summer student employment grant that requires proof of indigenous status and begins on May 13, 2024.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Supervisor of Non-Perishable Operations and Supervisor of Perishable Operations with all aspects of the warehouse operation.

Major Responsibilities
foodSHARE Program
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of products being sorted for distribution to local agencies through foodSHARE deliveries and for distribution to clients onsite. This responsibility will be supervised by the Supervisor of Non-Perishable Operations, the Supervisor of Perishable Operations, Supervisor of Client Services and the Director of Warehousing & Logistics.
