JLL is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Occupancy Planning Analyst for one of its key clients in downtown Toronto. This role will provide the team with boots on the ground and direct sight for various client programs and such things as furniture and design validation. With a strong background in AutoCAD, Revit, and experience in planning and managing CAFM systems, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing our workspace efficiency and enhancing client satisfaction through collaborative problem-solving and innovative space planning solutions.
The team will rely on your ability to foster strong relations with the client and internally with various stakeholders and teams like Facility Management, the Design team, and Move And Change MAC) team.
The client's location in the Financial District and it is a hybrid role - splitting time onsite for three (3) days and with flexibility to work remotely the other two (2) days.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Understanding workplace mobility and occupancy strategy to ensure the client’s real estate is maximized
Planning, implementing, and analyzing utilization metrics.
Managing, analyzing, and reporting on multiple data sources
Utilizing technology, including CAFM Systems to inform occupancy planning and benchmarking
Ability to prioritize workload of competing client projects and ask for help when necessary
Ability to complete test-fits with AutoCAD.
Ability to implement and maintain drawings using Revit.
Supporting Dynamic Occupancy Planning strategies and technologies
Operational occupancy planning across client’s campus/portfolios are developed and implemented
Space data and insights tracking maintaining foundational people and space data to inform tactical strategies
Occupancy management, manage space and continuously morph assigned and unassigned space day-to-day
Assist in building and maintaining Occupancy Planning & Management (OPM) metrics and utilization reporting
Maintain OPM templates and tools
Collaborate in the development and creation of new OPM templates and tools
Team document retention and management coordination
Annual OP Playbook/SOP coordination and updates
Miscellaneous data requests
WHAT YOU BRING:
Bachelor’s degree required and strong grasp of occupancy planning best practices.
Good familiarity with design, project management, facilities management or architecture.
5 – 7 years of relevant experience in space/ occupancy planning at a strategic level.
Proficient in PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio and Word with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit and CAFM systems.
