Role Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the complete employee lifecycle at Infini Health, spanning recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, and all aspects in between.

This is a sole HR position that supports and collaborates with both employees and clinic leadership, addressing human resource matters such as policy interpretation, performance, development, and HR documentation. Your influence will extend to guiding leadership on best practice approaches and facilitating HR workflows, with leadership, the Clinic Manager, and payroll.

Infini Health currently comprises a team of 50 employees, independent physicians and contractors, with operations in Alberta and Ontario.

The role

  • Provide effective and timely first line support and counsel to employees and leadership on HR-related matters.
  • Develop and enhance current HR practices to evolve as the clinic evolves
  • Respond to inquiries on various HR topics including policy and procedure interpretation, legislation (AB & ON), and time management.
  • Support full-cycle recruitment efforts including writing job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews and screening assessments, communicating with candidates, and employment offers while highlighting Infini’s culture and mission.
  • Partner collaboratively with leaders to identity short- and long-term hiring needs and developing strategic solutions to unique and or filling hard to fill roles
  • Ensure seamless onboarding experiences for new hires, including offer letters, onboarding workflows, and check-ins.
  • Lead both voluntary and involuntary offboarding processes.
  • Advise on recruitment practices, employee relations, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, employee leaves, compensation, and health and safety practices.
  • Management and integrity of the HRIS database (Humi) and HR and employee Files.
  • Prepare and administer all HR documents, notices, and letters that are compliant with applicable legislation and support the culture and values of Infini Health.
  • Ensure compliance of clinic HR policies through regular reviews, research, and updates and maintain employee handbook.
  • Stay current with relevant legislation and make recommendations to leadership as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

What you bring:

  • Education: Completion of a Human Resources diploma or equivalent. CPHR designation or working towards is considered an asset.
  • Experience:
  • 2-3 years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience in healthcare or clinic environment is considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment law and regulations, legislative issues and industry trends relating to human resources
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong user of Microsoft 356 platform and apps (outlook, word, excel, teams, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Experience with Humi is considered an asset

Job Requirements

This role is currently a part-time hybrid role based in the Calgary Clinic with the opportunity to expand as our clinic continues to evolve

It is important to note that due to the nature of our clinic environment, flexibility in your schedule is important and there may be evening, and weekend availability required to meet business needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
