Overview:
Bartenders are responsible for taking the guests through the key phase of their Hard Rock experience. As a Hard Rock Bartender, you will be assuming the role of tour guide, communicator, decision-maker, entertainer, memorabilia curator and musician (at heart).
Availability must be Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays from 4:00pm - 11:00pm.
Must have your own transportation as buses do not come out to the Casino. Must hold a valid Smart Serve license.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest’s name when possible

Expedite guests and/or server’s orders including the mixing and serving of beverages

Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell

Anticipate guests’ service needs and provide service to each guest quickly and accurately

Set-up / Replenish bar station with ice, dry goods, paper products, juices, cut fruits, and garnishes for service
- Monitor bar area for seating availability, service, safety and well-being of the guest
- Take the guest order, always trying to use suggestive/ upselling techniques

Prepare quality cocktails, beer, and wine according to the Hard Rock beverage standards and / or recipes to all guest and servers

Process all guest orders thru the POS terminal
- Clear and re-set bar top and tables in bar area
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell

Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift

Notify management of maintenance repair issues
- Complete any additional reasonable requests by management
- Handling cash & other forms of payment

Making proficient sales transactions - using a point-of-sale system

Properly checks I.D.s – for guests who appear to be under 30 years old

Demonstrating responsible alcohol service

Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge

Answering questions - accurately and politely

Satisfying any/all needs of the guests - regularly double checking back with guests throughout their experience

Directing guests to areas & restrooms

Creating memorable experiences

Entertaining guests with AMPLIFIED SERVICE

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Follows all food safety & sanitation procedures

Must be Smart Serve certified

Practicing all general safety standards

Performing duties which require bending & reaching

Lifting & transporting up to 25 pounds

Standing or walking, for up to 8 hours

Maintaining a well-groomed appearance (“having a plan”)

Following all uniform guidelines

Recycling products, where possible

Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere

Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency

Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds or more.

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure to general public
