Store Assistant Manager

Firetail Pets is looking for a Store Assistant Manager to join our team in Squamish, BC. The hours will be Friday - Tuesday 12:30pm - 8:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the store
• Manage staff and distribute workloads such as date code checking, and price changes
• Oversee inventory levels and maintain inventory control
• Monitor store specials and promotions
• Manage cash and credit card transactions
• Maintain a clean and orderly store environment
• Propose new ideas to improve the experience of customers

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Retail Manager, Store Manager, or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of marketing strategies and customer service practices
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
