Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for all major material movements within the production facility. You will ensure all moves are made in a safe manner and are properly recorded/input into the warehouse management systems. Job Description: Transport and distribute materials and goods within the facility Pick and stock orders Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment Pack and unpack goods Install, lash, and secure goods Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety Qualifications: Minimum of six months Reach Truck and Narrow aisle experience Must be able to prioritize numerous demands Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work well with minimum supervision Ability to lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures Preference will be given to candidates with accredited reach truck/forklift certification Note: This posting is for a static weekend shift scheduled Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 12 hours per day Applicants must apply with either an updated Professional Profile on Workday or attached resume to be considered Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement Hourly Rate: $27.47 - $31.26 / Hour Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
