We are a fast-growing company that sells field ticketing software to the energy industry across the continent. Just this year so far we signed up more deals than most of last year and more are lined up. All of our 200 customers are referenceable and most of the new leads are coming from existing users.
To keep pace with our growth, we are looking to hire a Technical Writer to join our team.
Join our innovative team at a dynamic software company where you will play a critical role in supporting complex software solutions on our in-house platform. As a Technical Writer, you'll work closely with our implementation, delivery, support, and product teams to document functionalities tailored to our diverse client base. In this role you will be responsible for the upkeep and quality control of our internal and external documentation.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation tools and software development processes.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate high-level goals into practical and efficient documentation.
- Based in Calgary.
Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive and clear documentation that simplifies the understanding of our platform's functionality.
- Collaborate with technical staff to gather and interpret technical information effectively.
- Support the product team by creating user manuals, help files, and other content that enhances user engagement and understanding.
- Assist in the review and updating of existing documents as new features are developed.
