Based in Calgary, the Channel Manager WEST embodies the next level of leadership in the evolution of the CSS (Customer Success Specialist) role. This position centers around strategic partnership development, growth planning, and commercial leadership within the designated territory. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, the Channel Manager WEST must maintain a proactive and strategic mindset to achieve sales objectives and cultivate lasting customer relationships.
Role Responsabilities
- Collaborate with E H Sales Rep channels and direct resources to identify, cultivate, and expand strategic business partnerships within the territory.
- Support account strategies for Top 10-20 Partner growth targets, incorporating competitive analysis, wallet share analysis, and execution priorities with the Regional Sales Manager and Sales Rep.
- Lead proactive account planning initiatives using CRM tool Salesforce, coordinating with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution.
- Ability to create executive-level relationships with key partners, providing leadership to engage E H Partners directly at Manager levels to develop strategic business partnerships.
- Provide commercial leadership, sales strategy formulation, competitive intelligence gathering, industry knowledge dissemination, negotiation strategy development, and pricing agreement negotiation.
- Guide and support channel sales representatives in effectively promoting Endress Hauser products, engineered solutions, and services with professionalism and expertise with the Industry and Product drivers.
- Foster collaboration and synergy with key internal stakeholders to achieve sales growth targets, ensuring alignment across departments and teams.
- Take the lead on developing and implementing training initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing, Services, and Solutions teams to enhance the skills and knowledge of Endress Hauser's product offerings, industry insights, and value-added services.
- Utilize CRM tool to document and communicate critical activities, engagements, and customer interactions, facilitating comprehensive record-keeping and streamlined communication.
- Generate call reports for channel support customer interactions logged in Salesforce and proactively schedule future customer tasks within the CRM platform to ensure efficient task management and follow-up.
Qualification Profile
- Post-secondary technical education, preferably in instrumentation, process control, automation, electronics, or engineering, plus at least 5 years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have technical knowledge and the ability to discuss complex technical requirements with customers.
- Ability to multi-task and change priorities to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations
- Must have Sales process knowledge and experience with setting up sales goals
