Building Superintendent

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Superintendent perfect for a semi retired couple to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facility. The Building Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all building systems, supervising maintenance staff, and coordinating repairs and renovations. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in building maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with staff and contractors.

Duties:

Working with the Property Manager in the following areas
- Perform routine inspections of the building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with building systems and equipment
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with internal staff and external contractors
-Record keeping ,including work orders and equipment manuals
- Fabricate or repair components using hand or power tools as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications preferred
- knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical is an asset.
- Proficient in English; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure

Compensation:

2 bedroom Unit : market rent is approximately $1800.00 per month

Salary $1200-$1400 depending on experience.
