Position Summary
The Office Administrator plays an integral role in the operations of the Infrastructure Supports and Operations (ISO) and Integrated Infrastructure Services (IIS) teams. This leadership position requires a strategic mindset, strong operational skills, and the ability to drive continuous process improvement.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Infrastructure Supports & Operations (ISO) administrative team
supervising administrative and clerical staff including hiring, assigning work, and monitoring performance
developing and adjusting processes in collaboration with the Integrated Infrastructure Services and Infrastructure Supports & Operations leadership teams
liaising with school, central division staff, and external stakeholders
providing support to leadership personnel in drafting and handling confidential correspondence
ensuring accurate time reporting and adherence to deadlines for all staff groups
collaborating with the Senior Accountant on changes to financial process
providing oversight of Archibus Fleet Management and Incident Reporting and liaising with the Archibus support team
coordinating Occupational Health & Safety training for Integrated Infrastructure Services staff
Education/Qualifications
undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Management or Human Resources
minimum three years related experience, preferably in a unionized environment
demonstrated supervisory experience
knowledge of collective agreements
excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills
strong technical skills including use of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Oracle, and Archibus
Rate of Pay
$3,152.10 - $4,027.80 bi-weekly
