Position Summary

The Office Administrator plays an integral role in the operations of the Infrastructure Supports and Operations (ISO) and Integrated Infrastructure Services (IIS) teams. This leadership position requires a strategic mindset, strong operational skills, and the ability to drive continuous process improvement.


Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Infrastructure Supports & Operations (ISO) administrative team
  • supervising administrative and clerical staff including hiring, assigning work, and monitoring performance
  • developing and adjusting processes in collaboration with the Integrated Infrastructure Services and Infrastructure Supports & Operations leadership teams
  • liaising with school, central division staff, and external stakeholders
  • providing support to leadership personnel in drafting and handling confidential correspondence
  • ensuring accurate time reporting and adherence to deadlines for all staff groups
  • collaborating with the Senior Accountant on changes to financial process
  • providing oversight of Archibus Fleet Management and Incident Reporting and liaising with the Archibus support team
  • coordinating Occupational Health & Safety training for Integrated Infrastructure Services staff

Education/Qualifications

  • undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Management or Human Resources
  • minimum three years related experience, preferably in a unionized environment
  • demonstrated supervisory experience
  • knowledge of collective agreements
  • excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills
  • strong technical skills including use of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Oracle, and Archibus

Rate of Pay

$3,152.10 - $4,027.80 bi-weekly
