About the Job

Dixie Ford is looking for a Casual Driver that has a flexible and reliable attitude. The suitable candidate will enjoy people with a valid ‘G’ Ontario Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract.

Position Objective

· Driving for the fleet department and other dealership departments when needed.

· Operating company equipment to communicate with dispatchers in order to give and receive information.

· Assist with deliveries and/or pick-ups.

· Assist with moving vehicles as needed, including driving vehicles to different locations on the lot or to service areas.

· Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspection, inventory and location.

· Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure efficient operations throughout the dealership.

· Notify manager when shuttle vehicle needs servicing.

· Perform other tasks/duties, based on management requirements and instructions.

· Adhere to the regulations outlined in Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act.

Qualifications

· Flexible and reliable.

· Excellent communication skills.

• Previous customer service and dealership experience is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License with clean abstract required.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Honest, courteous and ability to demonstrate strong work ethics.
• Ability to take written and verbal direction.
• Health and Safety conscious.
