Darmac Framing Systems is looking to hire a Zoom Boom Operator Order Picker to work in our shop based in Balzac, AB. The position reports directly to the production manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate zoom boom machinery safely and efficiently to move materials within the shop.
- Utilize order picking techniques to accurately gather materials needed for production.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the proper storage of materials.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience operating zoom boom machinery and order picking preferred.
- Valid zoom boom operator certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast- paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to always adhering to safety standards and procedures.
Pay is based on qualifications and experience.
