Pilot Truck Driver

We are currently seeking experienced and committed Pilot Drivers to join our team.

Role Overview:

The Pilot Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of oversized loads. This role involves close collaboration with truck drivers, continuous monitoring of road conditions, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Escort and guide oversized loads safely on designated routes.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with truck drivers, other pilot drivers, and law enforcement officials.
• Monitor road conditions, traffic patterns, and potential hazards to ensure safe passage.
• Utilize navigation tools and maps to plan and execute efficient routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of pilot vehicles to ensure readiness.
• Keep detailed logs and reports for each trip.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a Pilot Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in dynamic situations.
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining high safety standards.
• A passport is important but not required.
