Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Junior Program Manager to oversee and coordinate various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project management methodologies and possess strong communication skills.

Duties:

  • Responsible for life cycle management of key internal and customer programs:
  • Overall accountability for the entire program.
  • Key customer contact at high level.
  • Continuity from project to project.
  • Program Planning:
  • Lead program schedule development and identify all critical path activities for assigned programs.
  • Conduct Initial Project Build Plan meeting. Lead future project scoping activities (develop generic resource loaded project / program schedule, budget, and risk register)
  • Program Financial Management:
  • Ensure that all program deliverables are accomplished and supporting documentation is prepared for each program milestone payment.
  • Program Forecasting – prepare accurate financial and resource forecasts
  • Manage program risks, including:
  • Assessment and identification of risks.
  • Develop and implement Risk Mitigation Plan(s).
  • Forecasting.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Key customer contact for assigned projects
  • Maintain regular contact (verbal and written) with key customer representative(s), ensuring all key program events and issues are documented in writing Customer advocate.
  • Deliver maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Develop long-term, enduring customer relationships.
  • Elevate customer issues when required to the next level of management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Proven experience in program or project management
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in large project/program management preferably in a manufacturing or engineering services environment
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional team
  • PMP in progress
  • Past experience with RFP and government contract management an asset
  • Experience with Project Management specific tools (MS Project, MS Office fluent)
  • Obtain Enhanced Security Clearance from the Government of Canada

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
