As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we are seeking an experienced ISO 17025 Implementation Specialist to join our team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable ISO 17025 Implementation Specialist to help us achieve ISO 17025 accreditation in our metallurgical lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 standards, and leading our team through the accreditation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement quality management systems in accordance with ISO 17025 standards in Collaboration with Contract Company .
• Create and maintain documentation related to quality management systems, including procedures, manuals, and records.
• Report the work to the Management and present progress report.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards.
• Prepare for and facilitate external audits by accreditation bodies.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel to address non-conformity and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on changes in ISO 17025 standards and ensure the lab remains compliant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 17025 accreditation.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 17025 standards and quality management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience conducting internal audits and preparing for external audits.
• Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor) is a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
