Production Assistant

We are a very well-established manufacturing company and are looking for a motivated person to join our production department in an entry-level role. This is a full-time weekday permanent position with potential for advancement.

General duties include the following:

· Preparation of equipment for manufacturing of various products

· Assist with the packaging and labelling of completed products

Job Requirements:

· Must have the willingness and desire to work in a physically demanding & labor-intensive environment with demonstrated experience on your resume. Please do not reply to this posting if you do not have this type of experience.

· Critical thinking skills and multi-tasking ability when necessary

· Ability to pay close attention to detail and follow outlined procedures and safety practices

· Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively

· Forklift and shipping/receiving experience is an asset
