Job Description:

The Owner Operator Team is responsible for maintaining and operating a commercial motor vehicle transporting LTL and FTL as required throughout Canada. The Owner Operator Team must understand that the company operates in a changing environment, and that he or she must be responsive to change. As a result, new directives may be added or deleted from the list of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the proper loading and securing of freight to prevent movement and allow for safe transportation of materials
• Responsible for daily completion of all required paperwork, such as Bill of Ladings, load sheets, ELD logs, scaling truck and trailer before commencing on trips, etc.
• Perform pre-trip, inter-trip and post trip vehicle inspections and adjustments, preventive maintenance, tire chain-ups, brake adjustments and minor on-road repairs as needed
• Pick up and deliver freight in a timely and safe manner
• Canada Only

Qualifications:

• Valid AZ (Class 1) driver’s license
• Commercial driving experience required
• Minimum 3-5 years LTL driving experience preferred
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Values and prioritized safety
• Successfully complete Caneda pre-screen requirements
