POSITION:

We are currently seeking a full-time Electrical Drafter

Job Summary:

Provide drafting services including but not limited to; reviewing design, standards, and drafting to ensure compliance with engineering and client standards, with assistance from qualified staff at Candor.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Drafting designs
• Reporting to project managers on specific projects
• Developing electrical/instrumentation drawings

Skills and Attributes:

• Detail orientated
• Team player
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deliverables and deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Organized; able to prioritize various tasks and have a flexible approach to projects and assignments

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Professional Certificate from a recognized College or Technical Institute
• Experience considered an asset
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
• Must be willing to learn and take on new roles and challenges as required
• A strong a focus for attention to detail is imperative for this position
• Applicants must be hard-working, have strong communication skills, and be willing to learn
