We are looking for a talented Commercial Analyst to join our corporate head office in Mississauga, ON.


Job Purpose

The Commercial Analyst reports to the Sr. Director, Biosimilars in the Biosimilars department.

The Commercial Analyst assists the commercial team to conduct analysis on the ongoing business operations, forecasting, demand-supply planning, pricing & rebate analysis, monthly KPI reporting, global reporting and other critical business analysis required for the commercial initiatives.

Additionally, the commercial analyst will support project management initiatives for new launches, especially the development and execution of campaigns and content, new marketing materials and tactics.

  • Maintains up-to-date health and safety training
  • Assists commercial team to develop content for 2 important New Product Launches, including updating cross-functional team launch maps (PowerPoint) and launch trackers (Excel)
  • Manages the weekly data reporting tasks, loading data, analyzing data, updating dashboards and creating monthly reporting slides for the commercial BU head
  • Supports development of new marketing materials (including Dermatology materials) and content for National Sales Meetings.
  • The Commercial Analyst assists the commercial team to conduct analysis on the ongoing business operations, forecasting, demand-supply planning, pricing & rebate analysis, monthly KPI reporting, global reporting and other critical business analysis required for the commercial initiatives.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as needed by commercial team members.
  • Internally there is interaction with staff and management of all local and regional internal departments including but not limited to: Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Scientific Affairs as applicable.
  • Externally there is interaction with executives, marketing and sales personnel and vendors.
  • Maintains up-to-date training designated for this position and training documents for reporting positions via KabiLift, FLC and Wellnet (LMS User and Curriculum Change Notice Forms, Training Documentation Forms, and On the Job Training Forms)
  • Ensures timely communication of complaints to the Quality department and Adverse Drug Reactions to the Vigilance department as per Standard Operating Procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree: MBA will be an asset.
  • 3 years of experience working in an analyst role, marketing associate role or sales professional in pharmaceutical industry aspiring to be in a marketing function.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is an asset. Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and with all levels of the organization.


Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Good grammar required. Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organization.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft® Office.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and handle fluctuating workloads.
  • Knowledge of IQVIA and other pharma databases is an asset
  • Knowledge of Data visualization tool is an asset– Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills .Excellent continuous improvement skills.
  • Proven ability to adhere to standards and procedures and maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to perform duties requiring considerable judgement, high level of organization and initiative under limited supervision and tight deadlines
  • Mathematical aptitude is required ..Strong analytical skills required.
  • Excellent follow up and project management skills Sound business judgement.
  • Ability to prioritize workload of multiple departments.
