Mississauga CITY Owner Operator

Operate articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption, Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes and other equipment, Receive and relay information to Eastern dispatch.

Looking for experienced city drivers with occasional highway experience

Home everyday at end of shift

Looking for 1 year experience.

Sunday to Thursday work. 8-10 hours a day.

Requirements

Security and Safety Driving record check (abstract), Drug test, Criminal record check, Basic security clearance

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Sitting

Personal Suitability Reliability, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility

Communication Systems Experience Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment

Documentation Knowledge Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Trip reports, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.) Class 1/1F/A License (semi trailer trucks), AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
