Fulfillment Associate

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our team. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

1. Receiving Duties:

• Receive incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to management.
• Verify contents of deliveries against packing slips or scanners.
• Unload trucks and move materials to appropriate storage areas.
• Label and tag received inventory items.• Update inventory records to reflect received quantities accurately.

2. Fulfillment Duties:

• Pick items from shelves or storage locations according to order sheets or pick lists.
• Ensure accuracy in picking items and quantities.
• Pack orders securely to prevent damage during shipment.
• Prepare shipping labels and ensure proper documentation for outbound shipments.
• Organize and stage orders for pickup or delivery.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups.

3. Inventory Management:

• Maintain organized and clean storage areas.
• Rotate inventory to ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) principles are followed.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of inventory discrepancies.

4. Equipment Operation:

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the warehouse manager.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines when operating machinery.

5. General Warehouse Support:

• Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
• Support other warehouse activities as needed, including but not limited to, order packing, labeling, and restocking.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

6. Communication:

• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns related to warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and sales, to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery.

7. Quality Control:

• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Report any quality issues or concerns to management for resolution.

8. Compliance:

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to warehouse operations, including OHSA regulations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
