Job Posting for Liner Installer at Bud’s Spas and Pools

We are looking to add Pool Liner Installers to our growing team yet again. After another year of continued growth, we need to expand our service department yet again and are looking for experienced technicians to add another layer of skill to our diverse team. If you have experience in the pool and spa industry, landscaping, or plumbing, contact us to learn more!

This role is a full time position and would ideally be a year round role with us. We aren't opposed to having layoffs for those looking to relax and reset in the off season, but the reality for many on our team is that a year round role is what is needed to provide for yourself and your family. There might be lots of expectations needing to live up to a brand that has been around for almost 60 years, but we will do everything we can to make sure you get every benefit we can afford for the best work provided.

Job Functions:

- Report to the Service Manager and work with other technicians to repair and install liners, pool equipment, run lines and install replacement winter covers

- Measure for new liners when rebuilding pools

- Measure for winter covers to prep for closing season

- Assist with the opening and closing of pools (both in the service department and for rebuilds)

- Provide guidance and assistance to new staff still in the learning process of becoming a full time technician

- Transition to shop work and spa work in the fall and winter if staying employed over the off season months

Requirements:

- 2-5 years experience in the pool and spa industry

- Minimum 2 seasons of experience installing liners and safety covers

- Must have a full G license and clean driving abstract

- Able to meet seasonal labour demands and increased work loads during certain points of the year

- Needs to be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions year round

- Is able to take responsibility and ownership of their work, and provide value at every step for our customers

Pay, benefits, time off and working contracts are all negotiable. We know this is a challenging industry to be part of, and that we set the highest of expectations; this means we have the highest expectations of everyone working with us. If we have expectations of you, you need to have expectations of us and we aim to deliver on that promise. If this sounds like the right fit to you, please send in your resume or come into our main location in Ancaster to discuss!
