We are a grain elevator, custom farm operation and seed dealership in Carp, Ontario

Job Overview:

Busy Agricultural Office seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for bookkeeping, grain merchandising, and general office duties. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent knowledge of Simply Accounting and Microsoft Office needed.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management

- Experience with general accounting transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and inventory tracking

- Answer phone calls and provide exceptional phone etiquette with vendors and clients

- Type and proofread documents with accuracy and attention to detail

- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed

- Assist with customer support inquiries and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

- Experience with Simply Accounting Software

- Proficiency in data entry and file management

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Must have own transportation (Public Transit not available in area)
