With a focus on outdoor cooking and sports, we're looking for a highly organized professional with at least 3 years of experience to oversee our warehouse operations. In this key leadership role, you'll manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse, directly contributing to our growth and profitability.
Duties:
- Lead all warehouse activities, focusing on receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products tailored to the outdoor market.
- Craft and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to boost efficiency and safety.
- Keep inventory levels optimized, collaborating with the purchasing department for stock adequacy.
- Guide and develop the warehouse team through hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Uphold a safe and orderly environment, adhering to company standards.
- Work closely with other departments to guarantee prompt customer deliveries.
- Implement warehouse management systems for comprehensive inventory tracking and order management.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and resolving process inefficiencies.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proficiency in handling materials with fabrication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with warehouse machinery, including order pickers and cranes.
- A robust understanding of warehouse operations and equipment handling.
- Expertise in shipping/receiving, inventory management, and package handling.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly Dynamics 365, Microsoft Navision, or similar platforms.
