Birchwood Dairy is looking for a part time permanent team member who will be available to work throughout the fall/winter. This position will require full weekend and weekday availability. Shifts and shift times will vary depending on the week. The successful candidate will be available to work anytime between the hours of 8:30am and 6:30pm Sunday - Saturday.

Retail Team Member Position 2

Birchwood Dairy is looking for a part time permanent team member who will be available to work throughout the fall/winter. This position will require full weekend availability as well as full availability afterschool during the weekdays. Shifts and shift times will vary depending on the week. The successful candidate will be available to work anytime between the hours of 8:30am and 6:30pm on Saturday/Sundays and 3:00pm and 6:30pm on weekdays.

What will your day look like?
As a member of Birchwood's retail team, your main focus will be assisting customers in our store, alongside various cooking/cleaning tasks. Some of the tasks include:

• Scooping ice cream
• Making sandwiches and soups
• Stocking shelves
• Processing transactions
• Sanitizing and cleaning protocols
• Tidying and organizing

Who is the ideal candidate?
The ideal candidate can multitask, thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative to complete tasks, and be able to perform under pressure during busy hours. We are looking for someone who will take ownership of their position and support the rest of our team:

• You have great customer service skills
• You have good written and oral communication
• You are able to lift 25kg and meet the physical demands of the job
• You are honest, trustworthy, and reliable
• You are able to work with a team and follow instructions as needed
• You have reliable transportation to and from work
• Previous work in food handling is an asset, but not necessary
