· Hold a valid Manitoba Security Guard License

· Be physically able to perform security duties

· Highly reliable

· Have excellent written and verbal communications skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other mobile apps.

· Must work well under pressure and be attentive to detail

· Bilingualism (English/French) is always a benefit

Your responsibilities will vary depending on shift or site posted and may include the following:

· Access Control.

· Camera Monitoring.

· Report taking and writing.

· Detecting theft & making lawful arrests.

· Conducting foot patrols.

· Conducting mobile (vehicle) patrols.

· Ensuring client property is secure in accordance with post orders.

· Securing premises as required by site post orders.

· Completing reports, both electronic and written.

Along with your commitment and capacity to provide superior customer service, security, and protection to our clients and their assets, confidentiality is a mandatory requirement of employment. Employees are not permitted to take photos or videos on job sites for personal reasons.

Ideal Candidate

· Graduated from High School minimum post-Secondary preferred.

· Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check with vulnerable selection.

· Must have a valid Class 5F Drivers Licence and must have a clean driving record.

· Must have successfully complete the Manitoba Security Guard Training (MSGTP) Program course in order to be licensed as a Security Guard in Manitoba with a minimum of 1 years experience in a Security or Loss Prevention role.

· FA1 - Emergency First Aid & CPR /AED although (FA2) is preferred.

· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

· Basic computer skills are required; (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Mobile IOS/Android Apps).

· Ability to walk large areas, sit or stand for extended periods of time, indoors and out as needed.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Able to follow direction.

· Leadership skills would be an asset.

· Required to work with a high level of independence and proficiency in conflict resolution.

· The successful candidate should be willing/able to pick up occasional overtime to cover vacation or illness absences.
