Ballco Feeders, considered a front runner in the Alberta feedlot industry, located 20 minutes southeast of High River, has an immediate opening for a full time Feed Truck Driver. As a Feed Truck Driver, you are responsible to mix and deliver feed to cattle in the feedlot .
DUTIES INCLUDE :
- Operate and drive the feed truck and loader.
- Feed cattle 2x per day.
- Follow Foreman instructions or recommendations.
- Maintain silage pit
- Feed commodities and micro ingredient inventories.
- Feed mill operation and maintenance.
- Shovel bunks if needed.
- Keep feed trucks and loaders in good running condition.
- Help in other feedlot areas such as, but not limited to bedding, processing, yard maintenance, and driving equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience in feed mill operation, feeding and the feedlot industry (preferred, but not required).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Some experience operating equipment
- Good attitude and team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Able to work a shift rotation including weekends
- Own transportation
