Grill Cook - Afghan Restaurant (Urgent Hiring)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled foods while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in delivering delicious meals that meet our guests' expectations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Prepare and cook grilled items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas.
• Adhere to food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
• Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of grilling supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a grill cook or similar role within the (Middle Eastern & South Asian) food industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A passion for cooking and providing exceptional food service experiences.
