Accounting – Accounts Receivable Administrator (FT) - CROSSFIELD

Work location – Crossfield, AB

Title of this position reports to: Corporate Financial Officer (CFO)

Monday To Friday, in-person, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch

Overtime may be necessary during month end and year end close offs

Purpose of Role: As a vital member of the Finance Team, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing assistance to their fellow team members to ensure deadlines are adhered to, while ensuring accuracy in data entry and safeguarding company assets.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

· Completing and posting the daily deposit which includes handling cash, depositing cheques, and reconciling merchant terminals.

· Reconcile and balance A/R accounts, including coordinating with other team members.

· Clean and reconcile cash clearing accounts.

· Process monthly AR statements, from customers and ensure that payments are reconciled correctly against outstanding amounts.

· Weekly bank reconciliations.

· Setup bank and wire payments as required.

· Report weekly to the CFO regarding the status of the collections and remaining outstanding accounts receivables.

· Maintenance of A/R accounts and it’s sub-ledgers.

· Weekly updates and setup of new A/R accounts requests.

· The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment.

· Communication and organizational skills are key with our employees and customers.

· Administering company credit cards, fleet cards and employee expenses.

· Crosstrain with other finance roles for absence coverage.

· Other duties may arise outside of this job description that will be required of the ideal candidate.

ABOUT YOU:

· You possess 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.

· Experience with CDK or IntelliDealer considered an asset.

· Excellent communication skills, highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and able to work independently.

· Excellent Verbal Etiquette
